SuperSiteSkills nominated for the German Construction Award 2026

Jettingen, 5 February 2026 – Gebr. Strohäker GmbH has been nominated for the German Construction Award 2026 in the ‘AI & Automation’ category for its digital training platform SuperSiteSkills. This makes the company one of the most innovative players in the German construction industry and puts it on the official shortlist for the coveted award.

The German Construction Award will be presented under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Construction on 24 March 2026 as part of the digitalBAU trade fair in Cologne.

Innovation for an industry in transition

The German Construction Award is one of the most important awards in the industry. It honours companies that set standards through innovation, quality, sustainability and future-oriented action.

The nomination of SuperSiteSkills honours a concept that responds to the current challenges facing the construction industry: a shortage of skilled workers, rising quality requirements and the increasing internationalisation of teams.

SuperSiteSkills is a digital learning platform specifically designed for the infrastructure and construction industry. It enables companies to train employees in a structured, practical and multilingual manner, regardless of language, prior knowledge or location.

The aim is to make knowledge widely available within the company – in line with the guiding principle:

When everyone knows what everyone else knows at all times, the knowledge of all becomes a shared strength.’

The use of modern technologies, AI-supported multilingualism and interactive learning formats creates a scalable training system that ensures quality, reduces errors and strengthens teams in the long term.

Scientifically based selection process

Only submissions that have undergone a comprehensive, independent evaluation process are shortlisted for the German Construction Award. This process was developed by the University of Wuppertal according to scientific standards.

Voice from within the company

“The nomination for the German Construction Award is a great recognition of our work. SuperSiteSkills was developed from practical experience – with the aim of sustainably improving quality on construction sites and making knowledge accessible to everyone.
Of course, we hope to crown this success by winning the award on 24 March,” says Robin Strohäker, Managing Director of Gebr. Strohäker GmbH.

Award ceremony on 24 March 2026

The awards ceremony will take place on 24 March 2026 as part of digitalBAU in Cologne. In addition to awards for companies of various sizes, five special prizes will be presented, including:
– Simple construction
– Building renovation
– Circular construction
– AI & automation
– Occupational health and safety
With this nomination, Gebr. Strohäker GmbH is underlining its role as an innovation driver within the industry – and sending a strong signal for the digital future of the construction industry.
